Exciting Child Care Programs for Your Child's Growing Mind

Lucille’s Learning Center LLC has been in business since 2011. We started as a family childcare center and transitioned into a group childcare center in 2014. We know that the first 5 years of a child’s life are critical to their development. Children’s brains develop connections faster in the first 5 years than at any other time in their lives. This is the time when the foundations for learning, health, and behavior throughout life are laid down. Babies are born ready to learn, and their brains develop through use.

Infants (0–1)
At Lucille’s Learning Center, we have rooms designed especially for our infants. Parents and teachers work together to design daily routines to meet each infant’s physical and emotional needs. Every day there are opportunities for small group interactions, positive and tranquil transitions, and one-on-one time.

Early Toddlers (1–2)
At Lucille’s Learning Center, we recognize that at this age, children are learning and discovering the world around them. We design our classroom, so they can explore safely and discover new things. Our teachers empower and help guide them through each discovery. We help our early toddlers to develop and learn through routines, interactive activities, and nurturing their individual interests.

Toddlers (2–3)
Lucille’s Learning Center understands that, at this stage, toddlers are in constant movement. They are running, jumping, and continuing to explore the world around them. They are quickly mastering things such as potty training, assisting in putting on clothing and feeding themselves, and they can even follow two-step instructions. Our experienced teachers, through regular routines and engaging activities, support our toddlers’ newfound independence. We also nurture their growing vocabulary at this age through books, songs, and puppet play. In our toddler class, the children will learn to master shapes, colors, numbers, and the letters of the alphabet.

Preschool (4–5)
At this stage, children discover a lot about themselves and learn a lot about interacting with the people around them. In our program, we combine learning with play. Through play, our children learn how to interact positively with their peers, learn conflict resolution, practice new skills, and learn to communicate their ideas and build a deeper understanding.

Our experienced teachers will support the children in discovering their unique talents and skills. We will support and get them ready for their first years of school by teaching them how to spell their name, count to 100, do simple addition and subtraction, love reading books, and recognize simple sight words.

Lucille’s Learning Center offers before and after-school care to support our families. We understand that with the strong demands on working families, before and after-school care is essential for our families.

With a wide variety of supervised activities, opportunities, and experiences, we support expanding your child’s interests while nurturing his or her desire for independence. Our teachers are always available for academic help, social support, friendship, and fun!
