How the Child Care Started
I established my business because I had a son of my own, and Child Care in my area had a bad reputation. That is when the idea of opening a Child Care popped into my head. When I started out of my home, it quickly filled to capacity with a large waiting list.
As my in-home Child Care grew, I decided to expand my facilities and moved to a larger building in 2014. I named the center after my grandmother, who passed away in 2008 and was a big inspiration to me.
She always had foster kids in her home and a welcoming atmosphere for anyone who stopped by. Her home always felt nurturing and caring. I wanted my center to have that same feeling that you got when you were in her home.
